What is a Giclee?

A Giclee is a reproduction of original art on canvas. The process involves capturing the original image with a high quality camera, and printing the image using a very fancy large scale art printer. The process results in a near perfect replica of the original piece, for a much cheaper price. It also allows many people to enjoy a piece of art that they like.

Why is there such a price difference between rolled prints and canvas prints?

Stretching canvas takes time and resources, and that means money. Canvas paintings are also bulkier, and therefore require more preparation before shipping, which costs more as well. There is a particular jump in price with the 36x48 size. For these reasons, we charge more for the ready to hang canvas, but the rolled versions look exactly the same, they just need to be stretched. Canvas stretching is available in places like Michaels for a fee, and they can have your art ready to hang in a few day, and itt'l save you some money!

What if my piece is damaged on arrival?

Unfortunately, things will get damaged from time to time in transit, no matter how well we packed it. For prints, should a piece arrive damaged, send it back, and we'll send you a new one immediately. For original pieces, we will have to refund your money or give you credit towards another purchase as originals are one of a kind and can't be replaced.

I'm worried about my credit card account... Is your site secure?

Yes! Transactions go through Shopify, and they provide a Secure connection (SSL) to the merchants to conduct the transaction.
